Sungrow are excited to announce a new compatibility update for the SBH and SBR batteries. Both series have now extended their compatibility to the Single Phase Hybrid (SH RS) inverter, enabling higher-capacity battery stacks and greater design flexibility.

This means you can now specify the following configurations in future designs and installs:

1. Sungrow SBR: 7 × SBR 3.2 in a single stack → 22.4 kWh
2. Sungrow SBH: 6 × SBH 5 in a single stack → 30 kWh

These setups help you maximise federal rebates, increase storage capacity, and maintain a compact footprint which is ideal for residential applications.

Firmware Update Timeline:

1. From 20 October 2025: Call Sungrow Support to request a remote firmware push once the system is online.
2. From Mid November 2025: Firmware will be available in iSolarCloud for direct installer updates.
