Jinko Solar Unveils 475 W Dual-Glass TOPCon Rooftop Module
Chinese solar manufacturer Jinko Solar has introduced a new dual-glass rooftop solar panel based on tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) technology.
Part of the Tiger Neo series, the 48-cell module integrates advanced TOPCon 3.0 cells and dual-glass construction to deliver high efficiency, durability, and aesthetic appeal for both residential and commercial rooftops. According to the company, the design aims to maximise returns through superior performance and reduced system costs.
Key technical features include:
-
Power Output: 475 W
-
Efficiency: 23.77%
-
Dimensions & Weight: 1,762 × 1,134 × 30 mm, 21.5 kg
-
Temperature Coefficient: -0.29%/°C
-
Electrical Specs: Open-circuit voltage 35.91–36.76 V; short-circuit current 15.73–15.98 A
-
Operating Temperature: -40°C to 70°C
-
Max System Voltage: 1,500 V
-
Construction: 20-busbar design to reduce resistive losses and micro-crack risk by 30%, anodised aluminium frame, 1.6 mm tempered glass with anti-reflective coating, IP68-rated junction box
The module is designed to endure harsh conditions, withstanding snow loads of up to 5,400 Pa and wind pressure of 2,400 Pa, and is certified to IEC 61215 standards. Jinko Solar highlights its suitability for coastal and high-humidity environments.
The company offers a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year performance guarantee, with first-year degradation capped at 1% and an annual rate of 0.40% thereafter, ensuring at least 87.4% of the original output after 30 years.
For installation efficiency, a 6.6 kW system can be built with just 14 modules, reducing racking, clamping, and labour costs by up to 15% compared to standard 440 W panels.
